Ten-man Aduana Stars held Hearts of Oak to a pulsating 0-0 draw at the University of Ghana Stadium in GPL match-week 5 on Friday night.

Coach Aboubakar Ouattara maintained his starting line up from their last game with no changes as youngster Collinson got to start once again alongside Saani and Hussein in midfield with Hamza Issah leading the attack.

It's a similar thing with Aduana as coach Yaw Acheampong wanted consistency having made no changes from the team that started against Young Apostles last week with Kelvin Obeng and Emmanuel Marfo leading the attack in a typical 4-4-2 system.

The 'Phobians' looked very calm and relaxed putting passes together and their first dangerous attack was in the 24th minute but Ransford Mensah had his short missed the post by inches.

Eight minutes later, Aduana Stars came so close to scoring through Kelvin Obeng but his effort was parried away by goalkeeper Benjamin Asare.

In the second half, Aduana Stars were reduced to ten men in just eight minutes into the restart after Rich Sackey was shown the second yellow card.

Despite playing with a man down, the Fire Boys were still playing well and nearly scored again but once again a great save from Asare kept the 'Phobians' in the game

The consistent attacks from both teams still produced no goal as it finished goalless after full time.

Hearts of Oak will travel to Wenchi to take on newbies Young Apostles, whiles Aduana Stars will host Dreams FC in the next round of matches.
