Dreams FC resume home duties this weekend hoping to spark a turnaround as they square off with Hohoe United on Sunday, November 16, in a Matchweek 10 encounter of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League. The match will be played at the Tuba Astro Turf in Kokrobite in the Ga South Municipal District of Greater Accra.

The Still Believe lads shared the spoils last Sunday after a 1–1 draw away to Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. While the point halted their slump anointing, their overall form remains below par, as they have mustered just two wins, two draws and suffered five losses in their opening nine games.

Match Preview

Dreams FC currently sit 13th on the league table with eight points, and their season has been characterised by inconsistency in both defence and attack. They have shown flashes of enterprising football but have lacked the sustained solidity required to climb into the top half of the standings. Sunday’s fixture offers a chance to reset their trajectory, especially on home turf where they often play with more purpose.

Hohoe United, meanwhile, have enjoyed a more balanced start to life in the top flight. With 10 points after nine matches, the league newcomers occupy 11th place and have demonstrated tactical discipline. Their defensive organisation has been a bright spot, though their attack has occasionally lacked ruthlessness. A positive result in Kokrobite could see them inch closer to the upper mid-table.

Given the fine margins separating the sides, a competitive and evenly matched encounter is expected at Tuba.

Team News

Dreams FC

Dreams FC are not expected to make wholesale changes following their encouraging display against Karela. Captain Emmanuel Danquah should dictate play from midfield, while forward Jonathan Nemorden is set to make a return as the central attacking warehouse. Defender Kuma Kofi will retain his role.

Hohoe United

Hohoe United have no reported injury concerns heading into the weekend and are likely to maintain the back four that has provided stability in recent matches. Captain Safianu Usman leads the defence, while Ganiu Abass is set to spearhead the attack after a lively performance in their last outing' against Nations FC. Midfielder Ati Sena is also expected to start after completing a full training week.

We say: Dreams FC 2–2 Hohoe United

Both sides are capable of producing sharp attacking surges, and their recent performances hint at a matchup that could be tightly balanced. We back Charles Bartels to strike first for Dreams with a composed finish, before Ganiu Abass levels the score for Hohoe United. In the second half, Jonathan Nemorden may restore the hosts’ lead with a close-range effort, only for Ebenezer Armegah to hit back late on with a well-taken low drive to seal a share of the points.
