Match-week 24 of the Ghana Premier League opens at the University of Ghana Stadium as Eleven Wonders host Nations FC in what will be a very crunchy encounter.

Expect a very tough encounter as both teams haven’t been in good form recently but will be searching for nothing but a positive start to the round after difficult recent outings, to end their appalling run.

MATCH PREVIEW

Eleven Wonders head into the fixture on the back of five straight defeats with their recent match ending in another painful 2-0 loss away at Karela United, a result that deepened their struggles.

The ‘Sure Wonders’ still remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just nine points after 23 matches and are desperate for a turnaround - even though many have already tipped them for relegation.

On the other hand, Nations FC are also without a win in their last two matches. Their last outing was a pulsating 1-1 draw at home against Dreams FC.

Sulemana Suweidu scored in the 62nd minute after a very tensed game in Abrankese but it won’t take long as Suraj Seidu scored yo level pegging just eight minutes later to split the points.

The Sky Blues despite the recent inconsistency, sit in 12th place on the league log with 28 points and will look to better their results this time to climb up the table.

TEAM NEWS

Eleven Wonders boycotted training this week due to unpaid salaries reportedly but resumed for their final training on Thursday to get ready for the game.

The case is completely different with Nations FC as coach Frimpong Manso will have a full strength squad for the game with no any injuries or suspensions at his disposal.
