Vision FC secured a narrow 1-0 win over giants Hearts of Oak in what was a very exciting Ghana Premier League match-week 28 clash at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium earlier today.

The game was a very tense and open contest, with both sides creating chances but struggling to find the breakthrough.

Just when it looked like the match was heading for a stalemate, Benjamin Kwarteng stepped up late in the game to score the decisive goal and hand the home side all three points.

The victory marks a historic moment for the ‘Ewuo Keke’ side, as it is their first-ever league win over the Phobians, while also ending their three-game winless run.

Vision FC’s triumph lifts them to ninth on the table with 38 points, and they will now turn attention to their next fixture against Young Apostles.

Hearts of Oak, meanwhile, remain third in the table with 46 points following the defeat, missing the chance to close the gap at the top.
