Hearts of Oak have humbled Eleven Wonders by an emphatic 3-0 win in a thrilling match-day 20 of the Ghana Premier League at the University of Ghana Stadium.

 The ‘Phobians’ arrived in a very explosive note having stunned their host in just eight minutes courtesy a brilliant goal by Mawuli Wayo - who took down his marker and struck from close range. 

Just two minutes later, Hearts of Oak once again with another huge opportunity their lead after a good team move found Henry Kwaku Boateng at far post in front of almost an empty but blasted it wide. 

Eleven Wonders were completely outplayed in the game with no incursions or attempts made at half-time and even struggled to create chances. 

In the second half, the visitors resumed from where they left off but once again blew away a glorious chance after Hamza Issah failed to tap into the net from a very close range.

The Rainbow Club doubled their lead in the 63rd minute courtesy Martin Karikari who nipped on poor defending to struck at far post before Kelvin Osei Asibey later converted from the spot to complete the riot.

Eleven Wonders have now recorded consecutive loses and are still at the foot of the table with 9 points and will travel next to Young Apostles. 

Hearts of Oak after today’s win have climbed up to the second position with 35 points and will host Bechem United next week.
