Medeama SC stayed on course for the league title with a strong 3–1 win over Karela United in their Ghana Premier League matchweek 20 game at the TNA Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Yellow and Mauves set the tone early and took the lead in the 18th minute when right-back Kamaradini Mamudu jumped highest to score with a header, giving the home fans an early lift.
As the match went on, Medeama took control again. Forward Derrick Fordjour put the hosts back in front in the 21st minute.

Karela United reacted quickly and showed good spirit. Solomon Aboagye scored in the 22nd minute to bring his side level after a mistake in Medeama’s defence, keeping the game open.
The decisive moment came later in the game when Kamaradini Mamudu scored again in the 67th minute. His second goal of the match made it 3–1 and gave Medeama a clear lead.

Medeama pushed for a fourth goal in the closing minutes, but Karela defended well to stop any more goals, as Kamaradini’s second strike turned out to be the last goal of the game.
The win keeps Medeama SC top of the league table with 43 points and strengthens their push for the title.
Karela United, who are known as the Pride and Passion, drop to 10th place with 25 points. They are still looking for their seventh win of the season after recording six wins, seven draws and seven losses from 20 matches.
