Swedru All Blacks secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Vision FC in a tense matchweek 31 encounter of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors completed a spirited comeback and then survived a late scare, as Vision FC missed a stoppage-time penalty that could have rescued a point in a pulsating draw.

After a cagey first half, the game burst into life shortly after the restart when Vision FC took the lead in the 51st minute. Forward Faruk Mohammed showed sharp instincts to fire home and give the hosts a deserved advantage.

However, Swedru All Blacks gradually grew into the match and found their equaliser in the 70th minute. Rudolf Mensah brought the Black Magicians level with a composed finish, setting up a nervy 'do-or-die' affair.

With the realms opening for them and the elements on their side, the visitors pushed for a winner and were rewarded late on. Defender Zayat Bubakari kept his cool from the penalty spot in the 89th minute, converting confidently to turn the game on its head and hand Swedru All Blacks a crucial lead.

The drama was far from over, though. Deep into stoppage time, Vision FC were handed a golden opportunity to snatch a point when they were awarded a penalty in the 90+11th minute. But in a moment that summed up their afternoon, the Eewoo Boys failed to convert, allowing the Black Magicians to hold on for all three points.

The result lifts Swedru All Blacks to 13th place on 38 points, providing a timely impetus in their fight to avoid relegation. Vision FC, also on 38 points, slip to 14th position and will regret their missed chances in a match that could be very important in the closing stages of the season.
