Medeama SC are back on winning path with resounding 2-0 win over Eleven Wonders in their Ghana Premier League match-week 27 clash at the TnA Stadium.
It was an impressive performance from the Mauve and Yellows, who took control of the game from the onset and maintained their dominance throughout the encounter.
Kelvin Obeng opened the scoring in the 22nd minute to give Medeama the lead, before Salim Adams sealed the victory with a stunning free-kick later in the game.
The result sees Medeama return to winning ways after a six-game winless run and move back to the top of the table with 49 points, although their position will depend on the outcome of Bibiani GoldStars’ game.
They will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Bechem United as they look to maintain their momentum.
With Eleven Wonders however, the struggles continue as they extend their winless run to nine matches and remain rooted at the bottom of the table with 10 points.
They will be hoping to bounce back in their next game against Hohoe United.
