Medeama SC and Bechem United have played out a pulsating draw in a very exciting encounter at the TnA Stadium in match-day 11 opener of the Ghana Premier League.

Both teams got off to an impressive start and took the game at each other in search of the opener but none were able to produce that early goal.

While Medeama looked very calm and composed on the ball, they combined possessive style of football and wing play just as they have always been but breaking through the Bechem backline was the problem.

Back from recess, Bechem United bounced back stronger with series of incursions but getting the ball past goalkeeper Felix Kyei was the major problem.

Benjamin Asiedu on the other hand, was outstanding in the game and his heroics in goal was the reason the Hunters survived in Tarkwa.

The game was really an aggression one with four yellow cards recorded and three going to the visitors but the center-man put up a great performance to avoid showing a red card. It finished goalless after full-time.

Medeama SC after the draw are most likely to drop from the top-spot depending on the outcome of other matches and will travel to Asante Kotoko next.

Bechem United are also currently in 14th place with ten points and will welcome newbies Hohoe United next to the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
