Aduana FC have managed to hold Medeama SC to a pulsating 1-1 draw in a very thrilling game at the TnA Stadium in match-day 22 of the Ghana Premier League, with goalkeeper Prince Osei emerging as the hero once again after another last minute penalty save.
The game started yesterday but was postponed to this morning due to a heavy downpour of rain in Tarkwa.
It took the homesters eighteen minutes to open the scoring account courtesy Salim Adams who scored with a thunderbolt of a strike from free-kick to put his side ahead.
In the second half, star midfielder Seidu Saana struck from distance and Felix Kyei struggled to deal with that as it entered in the net to level the score for the travellers before the game was halted.
The game resumed just this morning with both teams taking the game at each other in a very tensed end to end action but none could find the net as they all looked solid in defense.
Medeama SC were awarded a late penalty in the game after Derrick Fordjour was fouled in opposition territory.
Captain Yussif Mubarik stepped up but unfortunately had his kick saved by goalkeeper Prince Osei as it finished in a stalemate in full-time.
Medeama SC despite the draw will still maintain their top-spot with 44 points while Aduana FC will follow in second place with 37 points.
