Medeama SC produced a commanding performance on Sunday afternoon as they cruised to a 3–0 victory over Young Apostles in their Matchweek 18 Ghana Premier League encounter at the TNA Stadium.

The Yellow and Mauves were in complete control and laid the foundations for victory inside the first 30 minutes, with midfielder Fuzy Taylor and attacking right-back Kamaradini Mamudu delivering two stunning goals to put the hosts firmly in charge.

Medeama struck first in the 21st minute when Fuzy Taylor bangs in the opener to break the deadlock from a set-piece, before Kamaradini makes it 2 after connecting with a Fuzy Taylor corner kick. The defender scored his goal just 13 minutes later, capitalising on sustained pressure to fire home again in the 34th minute, leaving Young Apostles reeling before halftime.

The home side dominated possession and territory throughout the match as they pinned their visitors back with wave after wave of attacks. Medeama enjoyed 61 percent of the ball, registered 12 shots, and forced Young Apostles into a largely defensive display.

Despite a spirited effort to contain the damage, Young Apostles struggled to create clear chances, managing just five attempts overall and only one shot on target. Their frustration was evident, as they picked up three yellow cards while chasing shadows for much of the game.

Medeama’s superiority was finally reflected again on the scoreboard late on, when midfielder Prince Owusu put the result beyond doubt in the 84th minute, calmly slotting home to cap off an impressive all-round team display.

The hosts finished the match with four shots on target, seven corner kicks, and just one booking to underline their discipline and control, while Young Apostles ended with 39 percent possession and two corners.

The emphatic victory kept Medeama firmly at the top of the table with 37 points and prolong their excellent home run, while Young Apostles sit 14th on the league standings with 21 points.
