Swedru All Blacks produced another commanding home performance to defeat Karela United 2-0 in their Ghana Premier League Matchday 7 clash at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Fresh from their dramatic late victory over Asante Kotoko, the Black Magicians made it back-to-back league wins with goals from Eric Wiafe Darkwah and Faisal Charwetey.

The hosts made a dream start to the contest, opening the scoring in just the ninth minute when Wiafe Darkwah calmly converted from the penalty spot after All Blacks were awarded a spot-kick.

The early goal allowed the Swedru-based side to dominate possession and dictate the tempo against a Karela outfit that once again struggled to impose themselves away from home.

All Blacks continued to threaten after the restart and deservedly doubled their advantage in the 59th minute through Charwetey.

Wiafe Darkwah turned provider with a brilliant solo run, beating three Karela defenders before delivering a perfectly timed pass for Charwetey to finish confidently and make it 2-0.

The second goal effectively ended Karela's hopes of mounting a comeback, with the hosts managing the remainder of the game comfortably to secure another valuable three points.

The victory extends Swedru All Blacks' impressive unbeaten home record and further boosts confidence after last weekend's memorable win over Asante Kotoko.

For Karela United, the defeat continues a worrying run on the road, with the Pride and Passion outfit still searching for their first away point of the campaign.

The result sees Swedru All Blacks continue their climb up the Ghana Premier League table, while Karela United will look to bounce back in their next fixture after another disappointing away performance.
