The Ghana FA has said a minute of appluase in honour of the late former FA boss will be observed by clubs and stakeholders in this week's football contests across the country 

Ghana Football Association (GFA) has instructed clubs and stakeholders to observe a minute of appluase in honour of departed former FA president Alhaji MND Jawula in this week's football competitions.

The veteran football administrator died at age 74 in the United States. 

He was the Lepowura of the Kujolobito Gate of Lepo-Kpembe in the Northern Region.

In 2020, the Country's Football Association named the former GFA Chairman, Lepowura MND Jawula, as the new Chairman of a new seven-member Premier League Management Committee.

"The Ghana Football Association kindly requested all members and stakeholders to observe a One Minute Celebration of Applauds in honour of our departed GFA former President, Alhaji MND Jawula in the under listed matches:

All BetPawa Premier matchday 14 games to be played this weekend.
All Access Bank Division One League matchday 12 games to be played this weekend.
All Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League matchday 8 games to be played this weekend.
All Regional Football Association 2nd Division League, 3rd Division League, Women’s Division One League & Juvenile (U13, U15 & U17) League matches to be played this weekend.
All stakeholders are to accept for strict compliance.
