Accra Lions have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Chinecherem Lucky Nwafor ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
The lanky forward joins the Accra-based club from Nigerian topflight side Sunshine Stars Football Club.
Nwafor has been brought in to strengthen the attack of Accra Lions as they round up their transfer business before their first game of the campaign.
The signing of the Nigerian striker is a significant boost for the club as they prepare to take on former champions Medeama SC on matchday one of the new season on Saturday, September 8, 2024.

Nwafor joins a list of new signings at Accra Lions, including brothers Ahmed and Osman Youssif, goalkeeper Osei Kwadwo, George Paaku, Salman Faris, and Ezekiel Alladoh. The team is looking to make a strong start to the season and challenge for honors.
