Aduana Stars head coach, Yaw Acheampong will look to get its Ghana Premier League season back on track with victory over visitor Asante Kotoko.

The Fire lads will face Asante Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday, November 24.

In an interview with the club’s media, Acheampong highlighted the importance of preparation, reflecting on the previous season where his team won 2-1 in the second round and lost 1-0 in their encounters with Asante Kotoko.

He admitted that the upcoming clash is expected to be particularly tough, specifying last season’s results.

“You need players with character to play Asante Kotoko. The game won’t be easy. We are not joking with this match. We know the task ahead and are preparing for it.

“We are doing our best and encouraging our boys for this big game. Last season we were able to beat them in Dormaa. This season too, we have to beat them,” he added.
