Yaw Acheampong, the coach of Aduana Stars, has shared that their goal is to stay at the top of the Ghana Premier League until the end of the season.
A narrow victory over Bechem United last Friday helped them reclaim the leading position on the table.
With Bright Adjei scoring a decisive goal in the 17th minute, Aduana Stars secured the win and bounced back from their previous loss to Nations FC. Coach Acheampong, speaking after the game, revealed their aspiration to maintain their top spot until the conclusion of the season.
"That has been our dream to be there to the end of the first season. So, let’s see how the other games go and then we see what we can do next," he shared with StarTimes.
Looking ahead, the Fire Boys will face fifth-placed Nsoatreman in their next game, a team trailing them by 3 points in the standings. This upcoming match will play a crucial role in determining Aduana Stars' ability to fulfill their goal of staying at the top of the league.
