Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars have completed the re-signing of Zakaria Mumuni on a free transfer after an unsuccessful spell at Medeama SC.
Mumuni had a month left on his contract with the Tarkwa based outfit but the club has opted not to extend his deal after failing to live up the expectations.
He joined the Medeama after ending his stay at the Congolese heavyweights where he made 12 appearances in both CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup competitions for the Kinshasa-based club.
Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian asked the management of Aduana Stars to secure the services of the 26-year-old forward to bolster their attacking department for the second round of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
Mumuni has signed a six-month contract with Aduana Stars with an option of renewal after the end of the 2022/23 season's campaign.
Aduana Stars are hoping to clinch their third Ghana Premier League title this season as they occupy the first spot with 31 points after match-week 16.
