Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, a professional football player from Ghana, has revealed that he has no plans to extend his contract with Accra Great Olympics.
Expressing gratitude to the team for the opportunity to play for them, Badu stated that although his time with Great Olympics was remarkable, he does not foresee renewing his contract.
"I don't think so," he replied when asked about renewing his contract with Great Olympics. "I am extremely grateful for the chance to work with them. However, as I speak to you now, I am no longer under contract with them. But who knows? In football, never say never. But at the moment, I am not under contract with them."
Emmanuel Agyemang Badu emphasized that he is open to any possibilities and, as a free agent, he is prepared for any opportunities that may come his way, whether in Ghana, Africa, or anywhere else in the world.
The player mentioned that he is receptive to any chances and would welcome contact from interested organizations. He stated his willingness to play in the local league or explore opportunities in Europe, Asia, or any other part of the world.
"As a player, I understand my body," he stated. "So, if I wake up tomorrow and my body isn't responding well to playing, I will retire. But for now, my body is responding well. I am physically fit and have no injuries. My contract with Great Olympics has expired, making me a free agent. If an offer comes in and I assess it as suitable, I will consider it. I am still in the game for now."
