Bankroller of King Faisal FC, Alhaji Karim Grusah has highlighted on how some of his senior players sabotaged the team in the latter part of the season, a crucial moment where they needed nothing but survival.
The 'Insha Allah' outfit started the season on an explosive note, having gone six matches without a defeat but later went through hell at some point of the campaign which nearly got them relegated once again.
However, they managed to secure survival just like last year after beating Legon Cities FC by 2-1 on the final day to finish the season on 14th position with 42 points.
Speaking to Kumasi-based ASHH FM, the experience football administrator feels excited for their survival but explained the ill treatment he went through in the hands of some of the players. He said;
"I can only thank God. We ended the season in June, Instead of them to wait until 26th of the month for their salary, but they said no and were demanding for it or they won't play our last league game. Meanwhile, I don't owe them, not even a month. Is it not surprising?"
"Lots of things happened. When Frank Boateng was dropped against Eleven Wonders, he hasn't been to training since then. He complained to the vice why he was dropped and boycotted training."
