Speaking ahead of the new season, the talented forward stated injuries is the reason he couldn’t succeeed at Manchester City

“There’s a big difference in the pitch, the weather and the trainings. Adapting there wasn’t easy. I was always training with the first team and injuries also became my nightmare.”

“It’s like a second chance for me, and I have to grab it. I have to hold it like an egg. I can’t let it slip again.

“You know, sometimes I see comments like I’ve wasted my talent or that I don’t respect. But those people don’t even know me, and I don’t know them either. It always motivates me.”

Bechem United are aiming to improve on their 10th finish last season, and Aminu's arrival signals their intent to compete strongly in both the league and the FA Cup competition.

Aminu Mohammed was part of the Black Starlets squad at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup that was held in India.
