On Sunday, August 27, Asante Kotoko is scheduled to participate in two pre-season friendly matches in Beposo.

The first match, set for 8:00 AM, will see the Porcupines face off against Kharis Soccer Academy, an institution owned by club legend Opoku Nti. Following this, at 10:00 AM, Kotoko will play their second game against Cornerstone at the Dr. K.K Sarpong Stadium.

These friendly matches are intended to serve several purposes, primarily aiding the team in refining their strategies and assessing their readiness for the upcoming football season.

The initial friendly match offers an excellent opportunity for players to demonstrate their skills and coordination against competitive opponents. Additionally, it allows the coaching staff to gauge player form, pinpoint areas requiring improvement, and experiment with different tactical setups.

The significance of the second friendly match is not to be underestimated. It provides the team with an opportunity to implement adjustments and enhancements based on insights from the first game. Furthermore, players who may not have had a chance to feature in the initial match can showcase their abilities and vie for a position in the starting lineup.
