Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito says the club have set themselves the target of winning the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors have taken three points, having only featured in one match from the three opening games, owing to their CAF Confederation Cup run
Last season at this stage, Kotoko had only four points on the board with a shaky backline leaking goals. This time, Zito insists it’s different.
“We have set our target to win the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League. The players know the ambition, and we must keep working hard, game after game,” Zito said.
Kotoko sit 11th with two games in hand, but the coach says the table will soon reflect their true might.
Zito’s side will host Bashir Hayford’s Heart of Lions, who have won all three of their matches, in a Matchweek 4 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, October.
