Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has downplayed concerns over fatigue following his team’s 1-0 victory against Nsoatreman FC in an outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

This marks Kotoko’s second win in four matches for the 2024-2025 season, leaving them unbeaten with two wins and two draws.

Despite suggestions of fatigue affecting the squad, Dr. Ogum emphasized in his post-match interview that it’s not a recurring issue.

"Sometimes it’s all about energy distribution. When it gets to the 75th minute, you see signs of fatigue, but they manage it well. Unlike the game against Berekum Chelsea, where fatigue set in, we were in control after the 75th minute, so it’s not consistent,” Dr. Ogum explained.

Next, Kotoko will face Accra Lions on Sunday, October 6 at 15:00 GMT in Obuasi. Lions defeated Kotoko 3-2 last season at the Baba Yara Stadium and will present another challenge as Kotoko seeks to maintain their unbeaten run.
