The Timber Giants have secured the services of the burly centre-forward until the end of the 2022/23 season's campaign.
Reigning Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have loaned out Samuel Boateng to FC Samartex for the remainder of the season.
The 25-year-old has been struggling for playing time at the Porcupine Warriors since his arrival at the club last season.
The club's official statement reads “Our forward, Samuel Boateng joins premier side FC Samartex on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season.”
Boateng has failed to break into the first eleven of Asante Kotoko under Burkina Faso gaffer Seydou Zerbo in the ongoing season's campaign.
He has made only seven appearances for Asante Kotoko in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season so far.
Boateng joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal from second-tier outfit Future Stars prior to the commencement of the 2021/22 season.
