Asante Kotoko have been hit with a setback as key midfielder Andrews Ntim Manu will be unavailable for Sunday’s match against Basake Holy Stars, missing out due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

The Porcupine Warriors head to CAM Park in Aiyinase for their Week 8 Ghana Premier League showdown, hoping to extend their unbeaten start to the season.

Manu's absence is a significant blow, as the midfielder has been instrumental in Kotoko's strong league campaign under Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.

The suspension stems from yellow cards received in matches against Karela United, Young Apostles, and most recently, FC Samartex. Kotoko will look to overcome this challenge as they aim to maintain their position near the top of the league.

Currently sitting second with 14 points and a game in hand, the Porcupine Warriors are aiming to secure another victory to keep pace in the title race.
