Asante Kotoko are set to sit down with Justice Blay and discuss a new deal for the midfield enforcer, according to reports on our desk.
The budding midfielder has enjoyed a meteoric rise since bursting onto the scene last two seasons after joining the Porcupine Warriors on loan in 2019/2020, going ahead to join the club on a permanent move from Medeama in 2022.
Blay, 32, has cemented himself as a regular for Kotoko while working his way into the heart of coach Prosper Ogum's most trusted player.
Undoubtedly, Kotoko will be desperate to build their team around him for years to come, and a new deal is in the pipeline for the no-nonsense tackler.
"Some developing news. Something Asante Kotoko fans will welcome. We have learnt that the club will sit down with Justice Blay and discuss a new deal that rewards the performance of his hard work over the years."
So far, Blay has featured in seven games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League after 10 rounds of matches.
