The Porcupine Warriors have terminated the contract of four senior players ahead of the 2022/23 season's campaign.
Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have announced the departure of four players namely Mohammed Alhassan, Dickson Afoakwa, Charles Owusu and Samuel Boateng.
The four above-mentioned players were declared surplus to requirements by the club's technical team led by Prosper Narteh Ogum.
Veteran defender Mohammed Alhassan, who joined them prior to the start of the 2022/23 season's campaign after being released by their arch-rivals Hearts of Oak, has had his contract abrogated following Narteh Ogum's decision.
Also, the club has parted ways with Charles Owusu, Dickson Afoakwa and Samuel Boateng who spent second half of last season on loan at FC Samartex.
Asante Kotoko have already bolster their squad list with the acquisition of Yahaya Dawuni, Nanabayin Amoah, Kalo Ouattara, Andrews Ntim Manu and Henry Ansu.
Prosper Narteh Ogum's side are currently in Nsuta Beposo for a pre-season training for the upcoming 2023/24 season's campaign.
