Assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, David Ocloo says that Sunday's victory against Medeama needs to mark a turning point in Asante Kotoko's season after a shambolic start.

The Porcupine Warriors stunned Medeama 1-0 at home on Sunday after Mohammed Sherif powered them to a sweet win at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The former Hearts of Oak coach talked after the game about how the victory must spark a fire in his players to turn their season around.

“Congratulations to them. This should be the turning point," Ocloo told StarTimes.

The narrow win was Prosper Ogums's third win after 11 round of matches, bringing an end to their five-game losing streak as they climbed to the twelve spot of the summit with thirteen points.
