Division One League side AshantiGold have completed the signing of experienced forward Ronald Frimpong on a deal that runs until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old, who has previously featured for Bibiani Goldstars and Real Tamale United (RTU), attracted firm interest from Ghana Premier League outfits Karela United and Nations FC.
However, Frimpong has opted to commit his future to the Obuasi-based club as they push ahead with their project for the remainder of the campaign.
AshantiGold will hope Frimpong’s top-flight experience and attacking nous can add impetus to their promotion ambitions as the season enters a decisive stage.
