Bechem United forward, Abednego Tetteh, says his fine form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League is down to the touting of Black Stars' coach Avram Grant after he described him as the best striker in the League.
The foward had a superb game on their matchday 4 of the GPL against Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium and his impressive performance on that day, earned him a praise from the Black Stars gaffer.
However, the former Okwahu United goal poacher says the ex-Chelsea boss inspiration is what is keeping him thriving in this season's league campaign.
"After our game against Accra Hearts of Oak, Avram Grant called me and spoke to me which made me proud," Abednego told Kickgh.com in an exclusive interview.
"He told me that he has never come across such a talented striker like me since he started watching the local league in Ghana. I must be frank to myself, I felt so much elated to have received such kind of motivation from such a coach with a high pedigree in coaching,"
"Due to this, i started to work extra hard and most at times i do train alone to keep myself in good shape and that has kept me going in the league so far," Adednego stated.
The Premier League debutant striker, who is gradually carving a niche as a free-kick expert, is having 9 goals and has made eight assists in all competition this season.
