Asante Kotoko new capture, Baba Yahaya has expressed delight after the move and added he is ever poised and ready to help the club win trophies and believes that can be achieved with hardwork.
The Porcupine Warriors announced the capture of the 22-year-old this morning on a three year deal after fruitful negotiations.
In an interview after the move, the mercurial midfielder says he is ready for the challenge;
“I feel honoured to finally be here. I have been dreaming of this day.
"I believe that sometimes, in life, the voice of the people is the voice of God. I thank whoever was involved in making this happen.
"I am more than ready to put on the shirt and get started.
"I understand the responsibilities that come with this, and I am ready to face it with hard work.”
Yahaya, has been with Kotoko in Beposo throughout their preseason so far and his impressive display has finally earned him a permanent stay with the Reds.
He has been outstanding since coming into scene and once again he had another fantastic season with the 'Insha Allah' lads in the last campaign but unfortunately they got relegated into the second-tier.
Since launching himself in the topflight, the mercurial playmaker has netted three goals in 34 matches and will hope for a bigger platform to prove to many a football faithful what a terrific talent he's got.
The 'Kum Apem' lads look very desperate for winning the league next aseason and have already made some additions with the aim of setting up a redoubtable side for next season.
Asante Kotoko's preseason continues in Beposo having already engaged Kharis Academy and Cornerstones, PAC Academy and Asekem in friendlies; of which they have won two and drawn two.
