Hunters' hopes of scooping the Ghana Premier League is intact, although they've not been impressive enough on the road after going through a disastrous time in recent weeks in terms of performance, but their beleaguered head coach is not solely to blame.
Bechem United's 2024-25 campaign is in real danger of unravelling. They fell seven points behind leaders and their Sunday opponents' Asante Kotoko in the top flight title race after a 1-0 away loss to Dreams FC last midweek, but before that with no real depth at the back, Bechem United were still asking for trouble, and it quickly found them. Berekum Chelsea and Karela United had their fair share of the cake - dolling out defeats to the Hunters.
But, according to Osei Wire, it would be gratifying if they rack up a top four finish at the end of the season.
“With our target for the season, it won’t be bad if we finish in the top four. Chasing the title we know will be very difficult,” Coach Seth Osei said in a pre-match interview ahead of their league match against Asante Kotoko this weekend," he told Bechem United TV.
Osei Wire further went ahead to state his optimism of the Hunters securing, somewhat, a point against Asante Kotoko on Sunday, April 13.
“Kotoko in the last four matches haven’t lost a game, and we are preparing very well for the game. They have not lost a game at home in the last five matches, but we are hoping for the best and we know it’s possible to get a point from that match,” coach Seth Osei said.
