Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak have declared its readiness to consider transfer offers for goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, stressing that any impending departure must serve the best strategic and financial interests of both the player and the club.
Following his standout performances for the Ghana Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the 34-year-old shot-stopper has become the subject of intense transfer speculation from several prominent clubs in North Africa and the lucrative Saudi leagues.
In an official press statement, the Ghana Premier League heavyweights dismissed circulating media reports regarding a fixed, pre-determined price tag, labelling those specific financial figures as entirely speculative and lacking factual basis.
“As a professionally run football club, Hearts of Oak remains open to receiving and considering offers that serve the best interests of both the player and the Club,” Hearts said.
Adding, “However, no official valuation has been communicated at this time, and any figures currently in circulation are speculative.”
This public declaration comes on the heels of the club reportedly rejecting an initial two hundred and fifty thousand dollar bid from an unnamed foreign club, with insider reports suggesting the continental giants value their star goalkeeper closer to a figure between one million and two million dollars.
Asare has a contract with Hearts of Oak until the summer of 2027 and he is expected to leave the club in this transfer window.
