Berekum Chelsea coach, Ennin Christopher, says his players promised to win against Asante Kotoko to make him proud.
Kelvin Obeng's strike was enough to seal all there points for Berekum Chelsea against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara stadium.
Berekum Chelsea now sits ninth with forty-three points after thirty matches.
Christopher said the boys fulfilled the promise they made to beat Asante Kotoko ahead of the game.
"Infact you can see the way they were carrying me.
"They really talked about this game and the boys promised me that Coach, we're going to make you proud and look at what they've done," he revealed.
"I really appreciate my boys and thanks to God for the win," he added.
Berekum Chelsea will host Elmina Sharks on Sunday.
