Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Goldstars, Kwasi Adu has admitted their matches against Hearts of Oak has always been very tough but stated they will hope to play the hearts out to secure a win this time around.
The Miners start to the season hasn't really been bad but will look to improve subsequently having given away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Kpando Heart of Lions in the last round of matches.
They come up against giants Hearts of Oak this weekend and this is one fixture they haven't been faring really well in since their promotion into the topflight.
There has been four meetings recently with Goldstars losing three and drawn only one and will hope to better that performance this time around.
Speaking in an interview, the enterprising CEO believes after halting their three-game losing streak to the Rainbow Club last season, it can really motivate them to beat them for the first time in the league.
“The Gold Stars team keeps improving. In our first season we couldn’t get a draw against them but last season we got a draw at Dun’s Park. It means there’s a possibility of getting the 3 points.
“Hearts is always Hearts of Oak but we are going to work hard to give our supporters a come-back victory.”
Coach Michael Osei and his men currently, have two wins, two draws and two loses as they currently occupy the eighth spot on the league log with eight points.
