Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Goldstars, Kwesi Adu has no confident in predicting a victory for his side when they face the champions in the next round of matches next week.
Goldstars will host Asante Kotoko in another crunchy clash at the Dun's Park on Monday in match-week 13 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
The Miners are in an outstanding form and are very much motivated heading into the game, having stayed unbeaten in their last eight league matches, with their last defeat happening against Hearts of Oak in October last year.
Their impressive run nearly gave them an important win over Great Olympics in the midweek but gave away their two goal lead to play out to a 2-2 stalemate.
In an interview with Akoma FM in Kumasi, Kwesi Adu honestly was unable to assure their supporters of a win over Kotoko and added they will be extra cautious heading into the game.
"Monday games against Kotoko is always difficult no matter the venue of the game."
"Last season, Kotoko defeated us both home and away so coming into this game, we are going to be extremely careful."
"We have been on a good run of form lately playing about 8 games without a defeat."
"We are going into our game with Kotoko as huge undergods, it doesn't matter how Kotoko is performing currently they are still favourites in the game."
"If we win against Kotoko, hallelujah but I can't predict a win, all we (Gold Stars) can do is to uplift our performance and give Kotoko a tough game. I will offer my brother Nana Yaw Ampomsah a tough competition."
