Bibiani Goldstars have completed the signing of defender Richmond Opoku Manu on a one-year contract, imminent for an extention.
The 26-year-old former ASEC Mimosas guardsman, had initially attracted interest from a number of sides across Africa with his rock-like defensive prowess.
However, he has opted to take his talents back to Dun's Park, where he played in the 2015/16 Division One league, joining on a free transfer with our sources confirming that the Gye Nyame lads have parted with some juicy dough to get the deal done.
Manu carved a niche for himself in the Burkinabé Premier League and the Ivory Coast, featuring for ASFA Yennenga, ASEC Mimosas, Sporting Club de Gagnoa and Africa Sports FC.
He had a short stint with Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko SC in 2014 before moving to Ivory Coast to join Sporting Club de Gagnoa.
