The 2009 U20 FIFA World Cup medalist has sealed a one-year move to the Capital based club ahead of the 2022/23 season's campaign.

Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics have completed the signing of Emmanuel Agyemang Badu in the ongoing transfer window.

The former Udinese Calcio star has signed a one-year contract with an option renewal to join Great Olympics, returning to the Ghanaian top-flight league after 13 years.

Agyemang Badu had stints with Berekum Arsenal and Asante Kotoko before leaving for Italian Serie A outfit Udinese Calcio in 2009.

The 31-year-old midfielder featured for top clubs in Europe such as Hellas Verona, Recreativo de Huelva and Bursaspor.

He has been unattached since April after his last club Qingdao FC in the Chinese Super League was dissolved.

Agyemang Badu becomes the latest Black Stars player to make a return to the Ghana Premier League after Asamoah Gyan and Sulley Ali Muntari.

He has capped 78 times for the senior national team of Ghana with eleven goals to his credit.
