Bofoakwa Tano FC have appointed John Eduafor Jnr as new head coach for the remainder of the 2023/24 football season.

He is joining with so much experience and exposure in the Ghanaian game with details of his contract or appointment not revealed yet.

Official club statement on Facebook reads; "We are delighted to announce John Eduafor Jnr as our new Head Coach. He comes in with immense experience in the @GhanaLeague and in depth knowledge in the modern game. Welcome Coach Johnny."

The enterprising gaffer is stepping in as successor for Frimpong Manso who resigned from his role couple of weeks ago with the reasons still yet to be determined.

Eduafor Jnr, previously, was part of coach Prosper Narteh Ogum's technical team in his first Kotoko spell when they won the GPL in the 2021/22 season to end the club's unpleasant eight-year abeyance.

Also, he was named the head coach of Kotoku Royals in the middle of last season but unfortunately couldn't help them secure survival in the topflight.

Bofoakwa Tano despite a great start to the season in their return, have been struggling lately, having won only one in their last nine matches and are currently on the 11th position with 16 points on the log.

They will be out of action this weekend following the postponement of their match-day 14 fixture against champions Medeama SC
