Bofoakwa Tano coach John Eduafo has shared his thoughts on his future following the end of the 2023/24 football season.
Eduafo took over from Frimpong Manso, who was dismissed mid-season due to the club’s inconsistent performance.
Discussing his plans now that the season has concluded, Eduafo stated, “I’m yet to decide on my future. Although I am under contract with them, we need to sort few things out to decide whether I will continue with my job or we part ways.”
The Sunyani-based club missed out on the FA Cup title on Sunday, losing to Nsoatreman FC in the final at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Bofoakwa Tano initially took the lead in the 22nd minute with a well-placed goal by Richard Dzikoe. However, Nsoatreman FC equalized eleven minutes later through Sadat Mohammed.
Despite creating numerous chances, neither team managed to score during the additional 30 minutes, leading to a penalty shootout.
Nsoatreman SC kept their composure and won 5-4, sparking jubilant celebrations among their players and supporters.
With this defeat, Bofoakwa Tano is set to compete in the Division One League next season.
