Bofoakwa Tano FC faces consequences as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) enforces a temporary ban on their use of the Sunyani Coronation Park following an assault on Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu after the Match Day 11 clash on November 19, 2023.
The ban, in accordance with Article 14(2) of the Premier League Regulations, aims to address the disturbing incidents.
Despite the ban, Bofoakwa Tano FC has swiftly adapted to the situation. Exclusive information from HappySports reveals that the team will relocate to the Dr. Kwame KYEI Sports Complex for upcoming home matches. This strategic move is in preparation for their GPL Match Day 13 fixture against Samartex, scheduled for Sunday.
Currently without a head coach after the termination of coach Frimpong Manso last month, Bofoakwa Tano FC holds the 3rd position on the league log with 20 points.
The team is navigating challenges while striving for success in the Ghana Premier League.
