FC AshantiGold 04 have officially terminated the contracts of head coach Abdul Karim Zito and two members of his technical team.
Zito’s departure comes alongside that of assistant coach Ernest Okyere and goalkeeper’s coach Robert Dabo, bringing an end to their respective roles at the club.
The decision marks a change in the technical setup of the Miners as they prepare to move forward without the three members of their coaching staff.
Zito had been in charge of the Obuasi-based side since their promotion into the topflight. After supervising their first eight matches, he recorded three wins, three loses and two draws and will now vacate the position to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
The club is now expected to consider its next steps following the departure of the technical team, although no information has been provided on their replacements.
AshantiGold 04 will look to settle the coaching situation as they continue their campaign in the Ghana Premier League and will travel next to Swedru All Blacks.
