The Rainbow club have abrogated their contract with the Danish trainer following the club's recent uninspiring performance.
Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak have officially announced the decision to terminate the contract of Martin Koopman, who arrived at the club in August 2023.
The 67-year-old was appointed as the head coach of the capital based club as replacement for Serbian trainer Slavko Matic ahead of the new season.
The club has announced that assistant coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru will take over from Koopman with an immediate effect until a substantive coach is announced.
Under Martin Koopman, Hearts of Oak currently occupies 11th position with 12 points after match-week 10 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
