Cameroonian import Georges Mfegue is set to leave Asante Kotoko at the end of the ongoing season after three years, Kickgh.com can exclusively confirm

The 26-year-old joined the Porcupine Warriors from Avion Academy prior to the commencement of the 2021/22 season and was really outstanding and one of the fans favourite then.

He joined the Ghanaian heavyweights on a good note and established a very strong attacking force with compatriot Franck Etouga Mbella- who combined to deliver the Ghana Premier League title which had eluded the club for almost a decade.

However, in the ongoing campaign, the mercurial winger hasn't been at his best and is struggling for playing time at the moment in Kumasi having made only 12 league appearances this season with just an assist to his belt.

According to reports from a reliable source, Mfegue isn't happy with his current situation and is set to depart the 'Kum Apem' lads after this campaign- which has only two matches left to seek a new challenge elsewhere.

Georges Mfegue in three seasons, made 64 league outings and contributed 20 goals within that period; having scored 11 and registered 9 assists.
