Bibiani Gold Stars captain, Charles Gyamfi Kamara, has rubbished reports in the local media that he is an injury prone player and has urged each and everyone to ignore those speculations having further confirmed he’s received offers but it’s yet to decide on his next move

The 25-year-old is a league winning captain having led the Miners to their first ever Ghana Premier League success in the just-finished season

The lanky middleman is known for his high presence in midfield, ball retention, passing and has a great vision making him one of the best in the country

He made 26 league appearances and notched one goal and two assists, and is undoubtedly one of the main reasons Goldstars have outstanding

He’s popped up on the radar of series of clubs with Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars the front runners for his signature as it stands

Speaking on ‘Pramaso’ on Kumasi-based Opemsuo FM last night, Kamara stated categorically clear that he’s never been an injury prone player and wants all behind those speculations to put an end to it

He further admitted that his future will be decided very soon and is open any medical checks at Asante Kotoko to prove he has good record when it comes to injuries

“I have gotten offers and im still in talks with my management to make the right decision. I’m not in Accra because I’m coming to fly but

“People shouldn’t be tagging me as an injury prone player, if you can’t meet my offer, that’s fine but don’t tarnish my image. From my days at Aduana Stars to Gold Stars, my longest was one month two weeks with a finger injury. Kotoko have their doctors who can assess me to determine whether I’m injury prone or not.

“Kotoko isn’t only my target, i wish to play in Europe as well so if you tag me as injury prone and the club sees on social media it won’t be good for me so I urge all those spreading that info to stop because it hurt when I see stuff like that.”

The versatile midfielder is also being monitored by an unknown club in Serbia reportedly and the Porcupine Warriors will have to step up their game to secure his service for next season

Charles Gyamfi Kamara is currently enjoying the off season hoping to have adequate rest to get poised and ready before the new season begins
