Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has struck an optimistic tone ahead of his side’s Ghana Premier League Week 19 encounter against Dreams FC, scheduled for Friday, January 16, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The Phobians will host the Still Believe Boys in a crucial fixture of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, as both sides look to strengthen their positions heading into the second half of the season.
Speaking in a pre-match interview with Hearts TV, Dramani stressed that his team has learned valuable lessons from recent outings and is fully focused on delivering a performance worthy of all three points.
“I think we picked up lessons from our previous games. We will continue to keep our identity in terms of our strengths. We acknowledge the strength of our opponent because they are a force to reckon with in the league,” he said.
While acknowledging the quality of Dreams FC, the Hearts coach was clear about his side’s intentions, insisting that respect for the opposition will not come at the expense of ambition.
“We will respect that and stick to our strengths. We will compete and compete to win,” Dramani added.
The Week 19 showdown between Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC is set to kick off at 3:00 pm on Friday, with the Phobians aiming to make home advantage count and boost their momentum in the league campaign.
