Nations FC defender Michael Awuah Mensah has expressed confidence that his team can win the Ghana Premier League title next season, following an impressive debut in the top-flight.

The Abrankese-based club finished seventh on the league log in the just concluded domestic top-flight campaign, but Awuah believes they have the potential to go all the way and claim the championship.

Speaking to Kessben FM, Awuah emphasized that Nations FC were contenders in the just-ended season, but fell short due to inconsistent results towards the end.

However, he believes that his team has learned from their mistakes and is ready to make a strong push for the title next season.

"Don't be surprised if Nations FC win the Ghana Premier League next season," Awuah said confidently. "I'm sure about our chances going into the new season. We were contenders in the just-ended season, but we fell short along the line. We've learnt our lessons. It won't be surprising if we win the league."

The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign is set to commence on September 6, 2024, and Awuah's prediction will be put to the test.
