Asante Kotoko Board Chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei has stated the club will partake in the CAF Champions League next season and added they will surely clinch
The 'Kum Apem' lads will represent the country in the continent's most elite club competition next season after winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League with games to spare.
The trophy was officially presented to them last Sunday after beating Elmina Sharks by 3-0 in week 33 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
On Media General's Akoma FM, the business mogul has declared Kotoko's readiness for the CAF Champions League next season and has added they club will surely win it in few years to come. He said;
"We can't deny them from participating in Africa. The board will meet to find means to aid them to participate."
"We only pray that we do well. I can't predict how we will fare in the tournament but in everything you do, with patience and tenacity, you can get to your destination."
"Even we fail to win it, I know for sure that one day with God on our side, Kotoko will win the Champions league."
