Abdul Karim Zito, the coach of Dreams FC, has highlighted his tactical expertise following his team's victory over Aduana Stars, which marked the hosts' first home defeat of the season.
Dreams FC traveled to Dormaa and secured a 1-0 win against the two-time Ghana Premier League champions in the 32nd week of the competition. The defeat has dealt a blow to Aduana Stars' aspirations of winning the league title this season.
Ali Huzaif's goal in the 60th minute proved to be the difference, earning Dreams FC all three points at Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Saturday.
In a post-match interview, Zito praised his tactical acumen and expressed confidence in his team's ability to avoid relegation.
"I observed their weaknesses when they played against Accra Lions, so that became my training session for the day. I instructed my players to attack early and achieve our objective," Zito told StarTimes' Jude Acheampong.
"Many journalists had written off Dreams FC, forgetting that I am the person who saves teams from relegation. They thought my team would go down, but I told them otherwise. Don't underestimate Zito," he added.
Following the victory, Dreams FC have secured a relatively safe position in the league standings, currently occupying 9th place with 44 points.
