Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Seydou Zerbo has confessed their opponents- Dreams FC were the better side throughout the game and deserved the victory.
He made this statement after his side got stunned by the Still Believe side by 2-0 in Ghana Premier League match-day 17 last Sunday in Dawu.
Gael Aholou opened the scoring account for the host in the first half before Agyenim Boateng Mensah sealed the win subsequently.
Speaking to Nana Darkwa Gyasi after the game, the Burkinabé gaffer admitted they weren't at their best and attributed it to injuries, having added seven of his players are all on sideline at the moment.
"The home team played very very well. They deserved the win. We have about seven players that are absent and we have to accept that they played better than us.”
Asante Kotoko are currently sitting 3rd on the log with 27 points and will travel to Nsoatreman in the next round of matches.
